Comparing Timbren and Firestone Vehicle Suspension Enhancement for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500

How does this part compare to the inflatable variety? I have an 03 Avalanche and typically tow a 20 trailer with 2x3500 lb axles. Which set-up would be best to support towing of this sort? Total trailer weight is typically 5-6000 lbs on scales.

In terms of capacity, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TGMRG25C, for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500 has quite a bit more; a total capacity of 6,000 pounds. Compare that to the maximum 1,000 pound capacity of the Firestone Vehicle Suspension, # F4108.
Both systems will offer similar benefits including helping to keep loads level, improved steering and balance, a better ride, and will prevent the vehicle from bottoming out. The Firestone system can be leveled side to side and to accommodate different sized loads. The Timbren system is not inflatable but the more load that is on them, the more resistance they provide.
The Firestone system will require either inflating the air springs at a communal air compressor or you can install one on the truck using the Firestone Level Command II, # F2158, or the Firestone Dual Electric Air Command, # F2178.
If you plan on carrying loads in the truck bed while towing and/or many different sized loads, it may be more beneficial to have the versatility of the Firestone system. If you primarily tow the 20 foot 5,000 to 6,000 pound trailer, the Timbren system would be the way to go.
