Question:
My truck is a 2008 chevy silverado duramax dually 3500HD 4WD. How are these in comparison to Timbren. I cant seem to find a load capacity on these. Are these just a softer material than the Timbrens. Unsure of which way to go these or Timbren. 5th wheel is 14,000 + lbs. and currently get bottoming out with stock rear bump stops. I have just installed all new Bilstein shocks on the truck. What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
The SumoSPrings springs for your 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 4x4 dually, # SSR-211-54, have a lower capacity than similar products; they top out at 2,800 pounds. Based on this I recommend going with the Timbren springs # TGMRCK35S which are rated for 8,600 pounds and will definitely prevent bottoming out when towing or carrying cargo in the bed.
