Some of the rear axle air bag kits we offer are compatible with 5th wheel hitch installations. It depends on the specific truck version you have.
For instance, if your 2001 Dodge Ram is a 2WD or 4WD 1500 with standard height then you could use kit # AL57215 so long as you have at least 8-inches of space between the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire. Certain other kits do not work with 5th wheels, such as # AL59501, and we note this in the installation notes.
The linked page will display all rear axle air bag kits that fit the various versions of the 2001 Ram pickup. You can use the Select Vehicle Style drop-down menu tool at the top of the page to select your truck version; you'll then see compatible air bag kits, some of which will work with your 5th wheel. If you prefer you can email me back with the specifics about your truck and I will be glad to help you choose a kit.
