Question:
I have a 2001 GMC YUKON XL slt I replaced the factory hitch with a Draw tite class 4 that has the extended reach toward the rear axle, to tow a 2004 Gulfstream 30bhs travel trailer, the I havery 2 Weight distribution systems I can use a cheaper proline 10000lb and a Reese trunion 12000lb system, the TT weights about 8000lb dry, I have the factory nivomat self leveling shocks on the yukon, I want to help take some of the brunt of the TT weight off the springs and nivomat shocks they cost $300-$400 ea with either weight distribution system will the airbags you sell help take any extra stress off the Yukon rear suspension? I know my Yukon is rated just above the weight of my TT I am only going to tow local less than 50 miles a few times a year maximum! I never towed the TT with the Yukon because I rented a 2017 F250 to bring it home I just want to strengthen the rear of the Yukon until I can get a 3/4 ton truck, I will be full time in the camper and need to move it to its home in a few months with as little stress on it, I have everything else I need the prodigy brake controller etc, can I use the air bags or will it hamper the weigh distribution as I saw mentioned in another question? Thanks

I do have a solution for you but there are no air bag systems that work on the 2001 GMC Yukon XL with the auto-leveling feature. What you can do is use some Timbren springs which will engage only if they need to (if the vehicle sags enough). With the auto-leveling system and the weight distribution adding the Timbren springs will make the rig very solid.
If you have a 1500 4x4 use # TGMRG25C
If you have a 1500 2-wheel drive use # TGMRYS4
If you have a 2500 4x4 use # TGMRSB4S
And if you have a 2500 2-wheel drive use # TGMRSB4S
Rear helper springs and weight distribution can be used together. You just have to make sure that the weight distribution system is set up properly so the 2 aren't working against each other.
