Replacement for Dexter 8-283 Hub/Drum

Question:

Any chance you have a replacement hub? Yes it is an odd number but correct.

The Dexter 8-283 is an obsolete 2800lb 10 x 1-1/2 inch hub that used a LM67048 inner and a L44649 outer bearing. Unfortunately, we don't have any hubs that would be compatible with the spindles on your axle.

Your best bet at this point would be to order a new axle that has spindles that are compatible with modern hubs. We offer a few off-the-shelf axles in standard sizes. In order to see if what we have would work for you, I'd need to know the hub face to hub face dimension and the spring center to spring center distance (see diagram).
