What is the size of the metal crank on which this fits i.e. what is the inside diameter of the cap?

I went out to the warehouse and measured the inner diameter of the cap included with Replacement Black Handle # HDKB-BLK. It is approximately 1/2 inch.

For a replacement handle you need the Top Wind Trailer Jack Handle #JP02-010. This is a topwind handle that fits Atwood, Shelby, and Fulton Jacks.

You'd have to remove the PAL nut of the old handle first to install the part #HDKB-BLK. Simply grab the nut with a pair of pliers and bend it off. Once you apply a bit of pressure, the nut will bend which will allow you to easily remove it.
