We are interested in the hitch C13240 but we have the 2017 Tuscon, are there any changes? Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2", # C13240, is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Hyundai Tucson. A test fit confirmed it will simply bolt onto your 2017 model Tucson. This is a fairly simple installation on your vehicle estimated to take about 40 minutes for a novice and 20 minutes for a professional according to the instructions.

If you will be using this hitch receiver for towing, I recommend an adjustable ball mount like the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball mount, # C45900. This will allow you to tow a trailer level and has a 2 inch as well as a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball. I've attached a review video and have attached an article on ball mounts so you can assure you get the right parts for your towing needs.

To get your vehicle wired to tow, I suggest the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118501. This harness will connect to your current wiring with simple plugs so no splicing is required. You will run a wire to your battery to power this modulite so it doesn't pull power from your vehicle. This harness will give you a 4-way flat connection for your trailer.
