Is There a 4-Way Wiring Harness for a 2026 Chevy Equinox Activ?

Updated 10/18/2025 | Published 10/15/2025

Question:

Looking to see if there is a 4pin connector available yet for a 2026 Chevy Equinox Activ. I have only been able to get the 6pin version which does not work. Thanks!

Hey Kienan thanks for the picture. The only custom fit plug in wiring harness we have for a 2026 Chevy Equinox Activ, is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 118285. This replaces the one that came with the factory tow package and has a connector like the one in your picture.

The only solution I have for you is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit item # 119250KIT. This is a universal wiring harness that uses clamps instead of splicing and cutting wires. It connects directly to the wiring leading to your tail lights and the sensors inside the clamps read the electrical signals being sent through them. The control module then reads the signals and sends them to the 4-Way connector.

I do not have any information on when there will be a plug and play aftermarket 4-way wiring harness for the 2026 Chevy Equinox without the tow package.

What are you needing a wiring harness for?

Need the harness so I can tow my trailer (and dirtbike). Tow capacity is only 1500lb so can’t do a whole lot with it but a 500lb trailer and 300lb bike should be fine. Was looking for something that’s direct plug and play so that I don’t have to disassemble everything to wire it. That doesn’t seem to be available anywhere so I guess I’ll have to wait until it becomes available.
