We can help you with the items you'll need to flat tow your 1989 Ford Ranger behind your motorhome. These include components like the tow bar, safety cables, base plates, a wiring or lighting solution, a high/low hitch adapter and a supplementary braking system. There are no all-inclusive kits but we can help you select the individual items you'll need.
A great place to start are the linked articles; these cover the basics of flat towing, how to select a hitch adapter (to keep your tow bar level) and the types of supplemental braking systems available for towed vehicles. We also recommend checking your Ford owner's manual for any guidance regarding flat towing this vehicle since some may require preparation steps before they can safely be flat-towed.
For base plates I suggest the Blue Ox # BX2102 which fits 2WD regular cabs, 2WD Super cabs and also 4WD versions. For a towbar their Alpha # BX7380 is a great match and since it includes the required safety cables you can save a few dollars by not having to purchase them separately.
For a lighting option that is cost-friendly and easy to install I suggest a set of magnetic towing lights like # TL21RK. For a braking system for the Ranger the Blue Ox Patriot wireless portable system # BLU37TR is the most painless installation available.
