I have a set of rock tamer mud flaps with the 2 1/2inch hub but want to know if I bought the 2inch hub if everything would attach. That way I can have both hubs and interchange the rest of the parts?

I have a 2 1/2 inch hitch ordered a 2 1/2 inch hub. How do I know if it’s going to securely fasten my rock tamers to the hitch? I also ordered a 2 1/2 inch hub because I thought I had a 3 inch hub as the bolts were not long enough to reach my 2 1/2 inch hitch. Please help I gotta get back on the road.
