As seen in my pictures, my coupler is shot. The lever is broken and I feel the lock doesnt engage the ball well. Its a parker performance 18ft car trailer with the 2 5/16 12,500lbs coupler. I see e trailer has a large selection and I would like to make sure I get the right one. Thanks

The etrailer # CA-5400-B weld-on coupler you were looking at would be a great replacement for your current Parker Performance A-frame coupler.

This coupler has a 2-5/16 inch ball and a weight capacity of 14,000lbs.

That's a very good question, we tend to be extra cautious and say to use 10 gauge wire because that would be more than enough. When you get into longer trailers that will end up using a lot of wire the heavier gauge wire becomes more necessary.…
