Question:

Im in need of a hitch extension or extenderinch for a class 1V hitch 2inch receiver. I have a tongue weight of 800 lbs. and a trailer weight of 7,800 lbs. I want to extend anywhere from 8inch to 12inch from my current hitch mount. What product brand and number do you have that will meet my needs?

The hitch extender we offer that best matches your criteria is the Blue Ox part # BX88264. This 12 inch hitch extender has a 10k total trailer capacity and a 1,000 lb tongue weight capacity.

You should note that when you use an adapter like this you end up cutting the capacities of the hitch by 50 percent. So you would need to confirm you still have the needed capacity.
