Question:

I need to order two hubs, but not sure which axle I have. How do I know if I have and idler axle or a BTR axle? whats the difference? It is on a 1980 Bass tracker boat trailer. Axle tube is 1.750inch diameter. The bearing shaft is 1.061inch Both inner and outer bearings are part number L44649. Wheels are 5 bolt 4 1/2 pattern. Also, are the bearings in your hub kits made in the USA? Thanks

Thanks for the dimensions and bolt pattern you listed from your current hubs. With that info I can help you pick out the hub you would need.

For an idler hub (no trailer brakes) we have the part # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K which will fit your spindle or for a hub with at brake drum we have the part # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K which is a fit as well.

The bearings are not made in the USA but at this time there really isn't any US made bearing options for trailers.
