Question:
Looking to switch to a Reese Goose Box to get rid of the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck. How would you put a lock on this unit or what lock would you use?

They do not make a lock for the Reese Goose Box nor do I see any way to attach one. It would take some serious criminals to steal one though as they are very heavy at around 170 lbs and not really easy to remove because of the weight. I suppose you could wrap a chain around the pin box and then use a padlock but I don't really have any advice to do so. I think the shear sight of a lock would do enough to ward most would be thieves off. If you wanted a true lock then the only option I see is to weld the brackets to the trailer.
