What Is the Average PSI To Use Inside the Reese Goose Box Air Ride Coupler Adapter
Updated 01/03/2025 | Published 10/09/2019 >
Question:
What is the PSI range on the 20K Goose Box? The small cut-circle that indicates, minimal, standard, or max pressure does not tell me how much air I need to put in or take out. The circle indicator varies a lot when traveling and Im never sure if the air pressure is set correctly. According to instructions, the Standard is probably what I need set the majority of the time. So, when set at standard what would the PSI be ? Your answer would help me a great deal to get the best ride. Thanks

The correct psi to use in a Reese Goose Box Air Ride Coupler Adapter like part # RP85FR is going to vary by trailer. That said, you can start with 35-40 psi and then go from there to obtain the best combination of support and comfort. The max is 50 psi and the min is 5 psi so as long as you are between these two figures and happy with the support/comfort settings you are good to go.
