Can Wheel Studs or Welded on Bolts be Used with Spare Tire Carrier # 413200
Updated 06/06/2016 | Published 06/03/2016 >
Question:
Is the metal thick enough to hold standard axle studs? Much easier than using bolts to hold spare on. If it will not hold a stud, I assume I can weld the bolt head into place. Thanks

Since the spare tire carrier # 413200 is holding a spare tire and not the weight of the axle/trailer you could use a drive-in stud. But I do like the idea of welding the bolt heads to it better since it was not meant to take wheel studs but can be welded.
