Question:
I have a 1996 Carri-lite, Atwood landing gear. One of the landing legs the one on same side as motor-lead leg has stripped out gears and possibly the acme screw/worm screw is not good has wobble and give to it. I just want to replace the entire landing gear system with a new one since the RV is 20 years old. But how do I know which one to purchase? What info do I need to collect from my current landing gear to make sure that I order the correct new system? Here is the info that I know: the shaft is 30.75inch long. Also there are two notches on the leg and the distance between the 2 is 16. I hope you can give me some direction. Thank you...

The sure way to pick out replacement landing gear for a trailer that will bolt right up to the current brackets is to measure the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram) if it is 17-1/2 inches then the # LC333964 would fit.
If your frame clamps are instead 20-1/4 inches the Ultra Fab part # UF17-943010 would be a direct replacement.
Since you gave from inside to inside you would just need to remeasure.
