Question:

I need to replace my horse trailer brake drums and electric brakes. I need AKHD 655-35-K, Kit. My question is I want to put Bearing Buddies on the hubs and the Bearing Buddies Seal kit. What ones do I need and is it possible to eliminate the seals and grease cups that come with the hubs for a savings? I also want just a stub spindle that I can use as a spare drum and spare tire holder. Do you have a stub axle I could use for this use? Thank You

We do have Bearing Buddies that would fit the 1.980 inch diameter hub bore used by the # AKHD- 655-35-K hub/drum. I'd recommend the stainless steel version, part # BB1980A-SS. For the Bearing Buddy seals, use # BB60002. Unfortunately, the # AKHD-655-35-K is a pre-packaged kit, we can't substitute any parts. The #TRU84FR spindle is compatible with the L44649 and L681449 bearings used by the hub/drum you're interested in, so it could be fabricated into a spare tire mount.
