Question:

I am going to buy a power tongue jack for my rv. It is a pull behind Z1 ZT 211 RD by crossroads rv. How do I know what capacity the new power jack should have. GAWR 3500 each axel. Is a 3500 lb capacity enough

For your trailer a 3,500 lb powered jack like the part # UF38-944037 would be more than adequate. The lifting strength for a jack is rated for the tongue weight of the trailer. If your trailer weighed 7,000 lbs you would have tongue weight of around 700 lbs so this would work well.

This jack powers by plugging into a 7-way trailer connector. If you wanted one that hardwires to a trailer you would want the part # UF38-944017 instead.
