Roof Cargo Box for Stroller that is 17 Tall by 43.5 Long by 21.5 Wide on 2015 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

We are looking to purchase this rooftop cargo carrier but I am concerned about purchasing over the internet without ensuring that our needs are met. My concern is whether our stroller will fit inside this carrier. The dimensions of the stroller is 17H x 43.5L x 21.5W The height starts out from 17H and goes down to about 10 inch. I also wanted to make sure that this carrier would fit on top of our Pathfinder and would allow the trunk to open fully. Thank you.

I do have a potential solution for you but since at least part of the stroller is 17 inches tall the Thule Force XT cargo box, # TH6358B, would not work because on the inside it is 15-1/4 inches tall.

For a box that can contain your strollers dimensions I recommend Malone's Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box - 12 cu ft - High Gloss Gray Item # MPG901. With dimensions of 55-1/8L x 31-1/2W x 17-3/8T it will be a tight fit but it will fit.

This box, at 55-1/8 inches long on the outside, should not cause any problems with the rear hatch on your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. If the crossbar spread on your Pathfinder is between 24" to 28" then it will fit!
