Question:
My 2016 Audi Q5 is equipped with side assist, back up camera, and front and rear parking sensors. The vehicle is not equipped with the self parking option.I would like to install the draw tight 75940 which looks very similar to the much more expensive Audi hitch. My question is does the installation of this hitch interfere with the function any of these options. I read the detailed installation instructions for this hitch on a Q5 and there is no mention of a problem.

Like you said, there are no restrictions for Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75940 on a 2016 Audi Q5 models with back up camera and parking sensors. It is listed by Draw-Tite as a fit for all models of the 2016 Q5. The only note on it is that on models that have the back up camera may require fascia trimming for the hitch receiver tube. I have included a picture from the instructions showing the trimming location.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring I recommend # 119250KIT because with it you will not have to splice into the vehicle wiring for installation like you would with other harnesses.
