New LED Lights Causing Hyperflashing On Flat Bed Truck
Updated 04/11/2016 | Published 04/07/2016 >
Question:
I recently bought a flat bed for my 03 dodge 3500 and bought 4 in LED lights 3 prong. I hooked the brake and blinker up to the signal wire and running lights to the tail light wire. When I hit the brake they flas like I have the blinker on. If I hook the running lights to the signal light it lights up as should but stays on obviously. Any idea?

Hyperflashing is typically a problem with LED lights being installed on a vehicle that had incandescent bulbs.
If that is the case you will need to install load resistors like part # ALEDRST2B on all of the taillights on the flat bed.
