This looks like the part I need Im missing the whole cylinder on my latch door and this looks like the part, but not too sure it goes to a latch

Thanks for your picture. The lock you were looking at is designed by a tool box company, UWS, but it might work for your latch depending on the dimensions. Best thing is to measure. The # UWSLOCKCH501 has a diameter of .626 inches and length from under the lock head to the end of .676 inches when measured with a caliper like # PTW80157.
I was able to find a replacement key and tumbler set for a latch lock more like the one in your picture. This new tumbler set # CHKT fits lock models # L1980, # L1930, # L1883 and # L1833. This lock core measures .714 inches in diameter and .65 in length.
I recommend measuring your current latch and seeing if any of these matches the dimensions.
