Could U-Bolts Be Used to Install E-Track

Question:

I want to install the etrack system in my 6x12 enclosed trailer. Floor is 3/4 plywood. I am not super comfortable to ust screw it to the floor, I was thinking if there are any Ubolts that I can wrap around the frame members and then stick up thru the etrack ? This is to tie down 500 to 600 lbs motorcycles. Alternatively I can install D-rings but I dont see any that have u bolts to go around the cross members.

We don't have U-bolts specifically designed for attaching the E-track, but we do carry a backing plate part # e96RR that does add some reinforcement for securing the tracks.

4 inch u-bolts could be used like you mentioned but you would need to source them elsewhere as we do not carry them. I recommend using screws, lock washers and nuts to make sure each connection is as solid as possible with the backing plate.
