Question:

I have a HOLD UP PLUS 2 which was purchased in error. If I purchase from you a spine assembly for use with a 2 inch hitch will i need any other parts? Please advise, Thank you,

I do not see why you could not take the trays from the Plus 2 and attach them to this spine to get a complete 2 bike rack. I spoke with my Yakima contact and she said you should be able to do it, but if you want to make it a true Hold Up, you will need some extra parts.

The spine, part # 8890277, does not come with the cable or the hitch pin that the Hold Up comes with. The cable, if you wanted to add it, is part # Y8890202. The lock for the hitch pin is part # Y07235. And finally, the pin itself is part # Y8890200.

These parts will allow you to essentially create a Hold Up from the Hold Up Plus 2 extension.
