Question:

I have 3 dexter 5200Lbs Nev R Lube axles on my 5th wheel toy hauler. the brakes, drums and bearings have never been replaced they are 10 years old we would like to replace them ourselves but are uncertain of 2 things 1. is there a dexter replacement kit with electric brakes and drums that will already have the bearings pressed in place for the Nev R Lube Axle? 2. Can we use any 5200 LBS set of universal Electric Brakes and drums that would allow us to lube as needed EZ Lube ?

Your Dexter Nev-R-Lube 5,200 lb axles use a 42 mm bearing cartridge that has a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. The correct replacement kit you would need that has the hub/drums with bearings pre-installed is the part # 8-388-80UC3.

You would not be able to go to an EZ lube type since you have a Nev R Lube spindle setup. This is a much better setup anyway.

For a right hand brake assembly you would need the part # AKEBRK-7R-SA and for left # AKEBRK-7L-SA.
