Will Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod Work With Atwood Water Heater

Question:
Hello,I have a 2006 Dutchmen travel trailer 25ft. It has a 6-gal. Atwood Hot Water Heater.It currently has a drain plug with no anode rod.The thread dia.is 3/4 in.Will this particular part work on this and would this length be proper for 6-gal h.w. heater?Thanks,I need one.

I went to the warehouse and pulled one of the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod, part # CAM11553.
I took some measurements and have attached a photo of the rod with the measurements noted. The threaded portion of the rod measures just a little over 3/4 inches at .827 inches. You mentioned the plug you pulled from the water heater is 3/4 inch. I called my contact at CAMCO and they told me that this is designed to work with Atwood water heaters so this should work great for you.
