Dimension of Curt Class V Hitch for 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD with After Market Bumper

Question:

I was looking at the Curt class 5 commercial duty receiver hitch that fits a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I have an after market rear bumper that has a low drop on it and I need a hitch that has a 4"-5" drop from where the hitch bolts to the frame to where the top of the hitch tube starts. I need a big drop so it will clear the bottom of my bumper and not interfere with it. Could you tell me what the measurement is on this hitch from where it bolts to the frame to the top of the receiver tube?

Good news, I was able to go out to our warehouse and measure the Curt Class V Hitch # C15703.

This Class V Trailer Hitch has a dimension of almost 5 inches from the top of the bolt holes to the top opening of the receiver hitch opening. This should accommodate the space you require for your after market bumper.

This Curt trailer hitch will fit both the 6-1/2 and 8 foot bed sizes of the 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD.
