Hello, says it will fit 6 1/2 bed. Will it fit on the 2002 GMC 3500hd 8foot bed. Thank you

We have a Curt Class III hitch part # C15312 that fits your 2002 GMC Sierra 3500 with an 8 foot bed but the # C15302 only fits 2500 short bed models so it wouldn't work for you.

will the curt 15312 fit a 2002 chevy silverado HD 6 1/2 box with step bumper. Have one on order.

If your 2002 Silverado is the 2500HD or 3500 model and that bumper you mentioned is the factory unit, the Curt # C15312 will fit and work well.
