Would Gooseneck Plate Hitch Need to Be Removed to Install Draw Tite Gooseneck Hitch

Question:
My truck has a rather large plate that had a center pin hitch that is no longer usable. Would removing this plate cause a problem installing the elite series hitch in my 1995 Chevy 3500? The plate is approx. 15inch x 15. Thanks in advance for your response.

Sounds like your 1995 Chevy 3500 has a plate style gooseneck hitch installed in the bed of it.
You will have to remove that to install the Custom Underbed Installation Kit # 9465-40-5W so that you can use the Hi Rise Fifth Wheel Hitch part # 9480-5W.
