Question:
I stepped on the wire and pulled the breakaway pin out and did not realize it until next day I put the pin back in and now the brakes wont engage any ideas. Could the switch be burnt out.

Expert Reply:
Chances are that your breakaway battery fully discharged during the overnight period when it was accidentally engaged. Breakaway batteries are rated to deliver 15-minutes of power in an emergency stop.
You can try re-charging it with a battery charger like # CTEK56353 from CTEK. I own one of their chargers and it does a good job on my mower and motorcycle batteries. If a charge does not correct the problem then you can use Replacement Sealed Lead Acid Battery # TK2023 or Replacement Breakaway Switch # 3802348 from Bright Way if your switch is indeed damaged. It is more likely that you just have a dead battery.
