Video Transcript for Review of Dexter Trailer Suspension Parts - Equalizer With Nylatron Bushing - DX44VC

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dexter equalizer with Nylatron bushings. Now this equalizer is built specifically for marine trailer suspension systems, so this is made to handle tough conditions around water. This is going to fit standard 1 3/4 inch double eye leaf springs, making this a solid match for many common setups. This has a corrosion resistant marine grade coating and it has been tested to hold up through over 500 hours of salt spray exposure, which means it's designed to resist rust even in those harsher environments.

This uses Nylatron bushings, which help cut down on noise and reduce wear over time, so your trailer rides smoother and parts last longer. Now the center bolt hole diameter is 9/16th of an inch, and I thought it'd be easier just to pop up a diagram here of the measurements for you on the screen. So you can see there that the distance between the left and right bolt holes on center is gonna be about 5 11/16 inches. And as you see my diagrams there and using decimal points there. And the distance between the hangar bolt hole and the side bolt hole on center, 2 7/8 inches, and the height of the side bolt hole to hanger bolt hole, again, it's two inches.

So overall this is made from high strength materials. It's built for long-term durability and reliability, especially if you're regularly dealing with water, salt, and heavy use.
