Hello, most of the hitch sites I looked at require lowering of the exhaust system for installation, is this necessary for your hitch ? Product #e98864 for a 2010 Toyota RAV4 Please advise Thank you

Lowering exhaust is a pretty standard installation step for a trailer hitch. However, the hitch part # 306-X7152 that has been confirmed as a fit for your 2010 Toyota RAV4 does not require this step. I confirmed this by checking the install instructions which I have linked.
