Using the Yakima Universal MightyMounts To Attach Mako Saddles and HullyRoller To Ladder Rack

Question:

I have a set of the # Y04037 Mako saddles and rollers I want to mount on a steel ladder rack on my pickup truck. Will the Universal MightyMounts, # Y03590 work on square metal tubing that is 1 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches ? Thank you

The Yakima Universal MightyMounts # Y03590 are designed to fit crossbars no more than 4 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches tall. As long as your bars are no more than 1-1/2 inch tall, the Universal MightyMounts # Y03590 will fit.

To use the Universal MightyMounts with your Mako Saddles and HullyRoller you will need two sets of Universal MightyMounts. The Mako Saddles require 1 set, 4 MightyMounts, and the HullyRollers require 1 set, 4 MightyMounts. This is because of the number of mounting locations on the Mako Saddles and HullyRollers.
