Question:
What bearing kit is required for axle T20BTR-7258?
asked by: Todd P
Expert Reply:
The bearing kit that fits the Dexter trailer axle # T20BTR-7258 is part # BK1-150. This includes two bearings, two races, a 10-60 seal, EZ Lube spindle washer, and cotter pin.
The bearings included in this kit are a match for the inner and outer bearings for the # T20BTR-7258 axle.
You will want to make sure that the races and seal will fit inside the hub you will be using. The seal has an outer diameter of 1.987 inches and the races have an outer diameter of 1.980 inches.
If you do not already have hubs for your axle, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-91-05UC1-EZ for 4 on 4 bolt pattern. For a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, I recommend Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-258-5UC1-EZ.
