Question:

I have T Bolts on my Thule roof mounted bike carrier. With my new crossbars my 2 1/2 inch long T Bolt is too short. This looks like it will solve my problem. Is it the same diameter as the shorter bolt. I cant remember the name of my racks and dont see them o the Thule website or elsewhere. Thanks

The length of the # 853-6511 is 3.62 inches. From the picture you submitted it looks like your current T-bolts are 2-1/2 inches. With the # 853-6511 you would pick up about an inch in length.

This T-bolt would have the same basic dimensions and would fit the same tracks of a roof rack so it could work for you.

In case you need the barrel nut as well you would want the part # 853-0446-06. Since it's hard to say for certain if the T-bolt would work with your current barrel nut it might just be easier to go ahead and order the barrel nut.
