Installing a Tekonsha Brake Controller on 2015 Porsche Macan

Question:

I purchased a P3 brake controller from you. Have factory hitch package. 1. Is there a quick-connect under-dash connection port for a brake controller? 2. Is there a quick connect pigtail from the P3 to the port available? p/n? 3. If not, how do i install to port? What is needed for this to work? p/ns? Vids/instructions? Thanks!

I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and he said you can use your Tekonsha brake controller in your 2015 Porsche Macan, however, there are no custom wiring adapters available for the Macan. They have not tested the P3 on the Macan, but it is probably the same installation as the Cayenne, so you will want to splice in a universal harness, # 7894. Installing a brake controller on your Macan using the factory brake controller wires can be a little tricky so I attached a help article that explains the installation process in detail. The installation covers all Cayennes from 2005 to present, but your Macan will likely be a similar install.
