Tall Clamps to Secure Tonneau Cover to Bed on a 2015 Toyota Tundra

I am installing a tonneau on a 2015 Tundra with 5.5foot bed w rail system. The distance between the rail on the tonneau and the rail on the truck is 3. Can this clamp open wide enough to accomadate such a distance, or can I use a longer bolt to re-engineer it for that distance?

Expert Reply:
The Erickson clamps # EM09450 are only 2-1/2 inches tall to being with and even though they could likely open up enough you would probably need longer hardware. That is why I would go with # EM09453. Its a larger set of clamps with longer hardware to start with so you wouldn't have to worry about finding the right thread type and length hardware for the other set.
