Overall Height of the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27670

Question:
Im looking at CE27670 to replace my bump style guides. The bumps are about 22inch long with out the brackets. I read on one of the other sites on similar products the PVC section floats. Is this how the guide makes up the difference in height or is the PVC section the 22inch measurement?

Expert Reply:
The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27670 that you referenced are 22 inches tall including the mounting brackets. Basically the top of the will sit exactly 22 inches above the frame of the trailer it installs onto. The PVC portion does not float or change height when submerged underwater.
