Does a spring weight capacity of 1500 lbs refer to each individual spring meaning 3000lbs total trailer, or total weight if two springs are used?

The weight rating on the # SP-039275 spring would be 1500lbs per side, with a rating of 3000lbs for both sides.

I have included some more information on installing slipper springs, if needed.
