Question:
Just checking to see if either the Hollywood HR1400 or the Swagman S64665 4-bike wheel loop racks tilt down for hatchback access while bikes are loaded. Ive become dependent on that feature after having a top tube rack for several years. Making the transition to carry smaller kids bike now. Thanks

Yes, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4-Bike Platform Rack, # HR1400Z, does offer the option of tilting the rack away from the vehicle to allow access to the hatch access but this is a 2 person job. One person is needed to pull the pin and the other to guide the rack. I have attached a video to demonstrate.
The Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack, # S64665, does not offer the tilting option.
Please keep in mind that when carrying smaller children's bikes you aren't just limited to a platform style bike carrier. Bike adapter bars, like the Swagman Easy-Out, # 64005, are available and attach between the seat post and the handlebar stem on the bike to give you a horizontal surface to secure to which makes loading so much easier, especially on hanging style racks.
