I recommend the Reese Titan weight distribution shank # RP54977 because it has a 5-3/4 inch maximum drop and 8-1/4 inch rise. The weight distribution head can be mounted so it has a drop of approximately 3 inches. The tongue weight is 1,700 pounds and will fit a 2-1/2 hitch receiver per your needs.

The shank # RP54977 will work nicely with the Reese straight-line WD with sway control # RP66074 because it's designed to work with trunnion bar systems.

I included a couple videos and informative article for you too.

I've lifted my truck since 2015 when I asked the question above. What is a compatible 2.5inch shank that has at least 10" of drop that will work with the Reese weight dist 66074? Bottom of coupler on trailer is at 16" and the top of receiver hole is 24.5".

@Clinton Welcome back! Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2.5" Hitches - 9-1/4" or 10" Drop - 13" Rise # C17132 is a match for your setup and will work with the Reese # RP66020 head assembly.
