Question:
I have purchased from you TEKONSHA Prodigy RF. I have 2015 GMC CANYON wiring ready for in-cab break controller with GM installed hitch. Do I need to splice break pedal switch wire in the harness with blue trailer brake wire for Prodigy to get break signal?

Since you said you purchased the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Controller, part # TK94FR, you will not need to splice into the wiring on your 2015 Canyon.
You will need to make sure your 7-way connector at the back of your Canyon has an active 12V lead. You will need to plug your trailer 7-way connector into the back of the # TK94FR power module mounted on your trailer. I have attached a photo that shows what each of the pins on a 7-way connector are used for. You can test the connector with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to make sure the connector is wired correctly. You will need to plug the 7-way connector from the power module into the vehicle 7-way connector. The remote control simply plugs into a 12V accessory outlet in the cab of your truck.
I have attached a great video you can check out that explains exactly how to install the # TK94FR. It seems the trickiest part of the installation is when you pair the vehicle with the controller. I have also attached the installation instructions you can take a look at.
