How To Wire The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller

Question:

The wiring diagram I saw for the ETBC7 shows a blue wire going from the controller to the 7 pin connector. If you install a Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller, what do you do with this wire? Can a ETBC7 be used with this wireless controller?

The 7-Way Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, Item # ETBC7, can be used with the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller, Item # TK94FR. The brake controller signal wire (blue) is not used by the Prodigy RF so you can use electrical tape to cover this pin and bundle up the wire and secure it somewhere.

Also, the 12-volt pin is needed to power the Prodigy RF.
