Best Trailer Brake Controller for Multiple Tow Vehicles

Question:
Hello, we use rental semi trucks to haul a mobile stage with electric brakes and were wondering what the best controller would be to activate the trailer brakes. The trailer uses the same 7 pin connector as the semi trucks. Since we are always changing the truck I was hoping to find a solution that can be installed quickly since it will have to be swapped around often. Thanks for any help.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 is a great trailer brake controller option that can easily be transferred between vehicles. In order to do this, you would want to install both the Brake Control Plug-In Harness part # 20127 and the Mounting Bracket Kit for Tekonsha Prodigy P3 part # TK5906 into each of the vehicles you will be towing with. That way, you can simply unplug and unlatch the controller from one vehicle and take it with you to the next.
