How far will the deck raise with this kit ?

Expert Reply:
When using an over/under conversion kit such as # K71-384-00 to add ground clearance to a trailer the amount of height gained will the diameter of the axle plus the thickness of the leaf spring stack at the axle.
So for example if your axle is 2-3/8 inches in diameter and the leaf spring stack is 1 inch thick then you should get approximately 3-3/8 inches of additional height.
If you need more height than the combined height of he axle and leaf spring stack then the only other option is to remove the suspension hangers on the trailer and have new, taller ones welded on by a qualified professional welder.
