Question:
How much lift will I get with this kit ? I dont want too much.

Expert Reply:
The lift that you will get with an over-under kit is the diameter of the axle plus the thickness of the leaf springs. The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit, # K71-385-00, fits 3 inch diameter axle, so your trailer will sit 3 inches higher plus the thickness of your springs. If your leaf springs are 2 inches thick, then you will get a total lift of 5 inches.
Keep in mind, raising the height of the trailer will change the geometry and give it a higher center of gravity which could make it more susceptible to sway.
