Question:
Hello, Searching for best option to lift a 2020 8:5 x 16 dual axle Interstate cargo trailer with believe 3500# axles. Not sure if “flipping” or lifting would be better for increased clearance, thanks much.

The best option to lift your trailer with 3,500 lbs axles is definitely going to be the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00.
The reason for that is it is going to give you the most clearance, because it moves your trailer's leaf springs to the top of your axle and lifts your trailer approximately the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack. That's going to be the most lift you will be able to get for your trailer, so it is definitely the best option.
Keep in mind this is for trailers with double-eye springs only, and for tandem axle trailers you will need two kits, one for each axle. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00.
