Is It Possible to Move Square Axles Below Leaf Springs

Question:

I see in the drawing that its for a round or tube axle. I have a square axle and want to move leaf springs to the top. You have any kits for this

Based on the picture you submitted that shows a square axle welded to a mount which is then welded to a leaf spring you would need to have someone qualified use a cutting torch to remove the mount from the spring so that you could then use a u-bolt style of mounting kit to attach the spring on top of the axle. To do this you will need to know the dimensions of the axle.

We have kits for square axles that range from 1-1/2 inch square axles up to 2 inch axles. Once you determine the size axle you have you will need to follow the link I attached, select your axle dimensions from the filters and the correct size u-bolts will be listed. The correct size mounting plate will be listed on the product page for the u-bolts.

We currently only offer spring seats for round axles so you may have to fabricate something for that. Using a qualified fabricator with experience with trailer suspension would be your best route.
