Question:
2011 honda pilot 4wd with tow package. First time interested in towing. What will I still need to obtain the cab electronic brake control box?

Sounds like you are looking for a brake controller for your 2011 Honda Pilot with factory tow package. The Tekonsha wiring harness # 118253 is an aftermarket replacement for a damaged OEM wiring harness and does not come with a brake controller.
Since your Pilot has the factory tow package, I recommend the Tekonsha P3 brake controller, # 90195 and wiring adapter # 3070-P. This adapter will plug into the back of a Tekonsha brake controller and the other end will plug into the 4-pin connector on your vehicle's built in brake control wiring harness. The harness will be located under the driver side dash just to the left of the steering column. It may be taped to another harness near the emergency brake.
